My Baby’s Three

My baby had her birthday this past weekend. She is three years old now. I can’t believe how fast time has flown by! I know that’s what everyone says, but it is sure true! Summer has really grown into a lovely little girl. She started out in this world weighing 7 pounds 8 ounces, 21 inches long. Now she is 34 pounds and 39 inches tall. She’s our little “big” girl! She takes after my dad’s side of the family, and me! We think she’s going to nice and tall when she grows up! She’s already wearing 5′s in shirts and 4′s in bottoms! I guess that makes it easier to find clothes that match for my two girls! (Yes, I’m one of “those” moms!!) She kind of just skipped right over the 3′s, she grew so fast!

We had her birthday party on Friday night in our back yard. It was just a simple one with family. Aaron’s sister and her family are staying in town for a little while, so it was really nice to have some cousins over! Autumn and Jared are pretty much attached at the hip! They came up with this cute “happy birthday Summer” picture!

My brother Ren made Summer’s birthday cake. He and his wife make the most creative and awesome cakes! They are SO talented! They made a Thomas the Train cake for their nephew and it turned out really neat! You can see the cake at their blog. Summer loves fairies so Ren made her a “Tinkerbell Fairy Tree” cake! I can’t get over how cute it was! He did a great job and it was so delicious!

Here is my big three year-old! She got to be a “birthday fairy” and she thought it was so neat! It was such a nice night! Everyone had a great time and I’m so glad the weather cooperated! It was mid 70′s with a nice breeze an no rain!
