We had some fun thunderstorms this afternoon with some dark, dark clouds. I thought this one was really cool! The sky was sure angry today!!!
In reply to some comments, this is the true color! I didn’t convert into black and white, this is exactly what I saw! Scary!!
I have recently found a great site called Skywatch Friday. I love looking at all the sky pictures, they are beautiful! Check it out if you like sky photography!

Nice shot! You can really see the clouds swirling around and getting ready to play their games in the sky. I like it in black and white.
Now this ‘IS’ good.. I can see the face in the clouds. I have taken and shown the odd face myself thats formed by clouds. Excellent SW post

You asked about what ‘Lens’ I use.
Firstly my camera is a Canon PowerShot S5 IS, Digital Camera and I purchased the Canon TC-DC58B Tele Converter Lens 1.5x.. So as you see for a relatively cheap set-up I can get what I think are very resonable results. I know very little about SLR camera or lenses so I can not help you any more on this..
