Well, let me tell you… 26 pictures to edit and paste into a collage + 2 sweet, energetic, attention stealing little girls = not much time! I am almost done with it, I’ll try and get that posted tomorrow.
In the mean-time, check out my sister Misti’s blog. She did this challenge with me over the weekend and hers turned out fabulous! Granted, she’s not married yet and has no kids so she’s had lots of free time to whip hers out! Ah, to be young and single again…!
Here’s my little Autumn from a little photo shoot last week. This is my favorite shot of her that night. I love the grass and the weeds (!) around her. The color really makes her skin glow!

This week I wanted to show you one of my newest favorites, leather cuff bracelets. My brother makes these, he is so amazingly talented! Every part of these are hand made! He hand stitches, stamps, carves, cuts…everything! He has a shop on Etsy called Leather Revolution, you should really check it out!
I have these first two bracelets. He made the purple one for me first, and then I asked him if he could do a custom one for me. I love sparkles, so I had him make me a sparkle bracelet! I love how it turned out!
These are some other designs he has in his shop that I really like. He hand carved the spider web… ridiculously talented, I tell ya!
My next favorite is a band called The All-American Rejects. I LOVE their music, it just makes me hapy to listen to it! I discovered them a few years ago. They did a guest appearance on one of my favorite tv shows, Smallville. They played the song, It Ends Tonight at the beginning and I was hooked!
This week at I Heart Faces, the theme is all about boys! There’s no girls allowed this week and since I have no boy children of my own, I’m out of the kids category this week. So for the adult category, I am showing off my wonderful dad! Here he is this weekend on our camping trip doing one of the things he does best! Let me tell you, he is one mean grillin’ machine!
Wow! This week sure has been busy! We’ve had family come into town and we’ve been busy having fun with them. And now we are getting ready to go camping! It will be our first trip of the year… we were planning on going a couple weeks ago, but got rained out. The weather is starting to look like rain again, yuck! But we are still going to go. I think it will still be nice just to get away for a couple days!
I thought it might be fun to do a little photography challenge while I’m out camping. My creativity needs a little jump start! I’m going to get my sister to join me, she just got a Nikon D60 last month! It will be a fun way to learn some more about our cameras.

“The ABC’s of Camping!” …or wherever you are this weekend! So simple really! Well, maybe not but it will sure get you thinking! I am going to try and find something throughout our camping trip that starts with each letter of the alphabet! I think it will be fun and kind of cool to see what my sister and I come up with.
