This week at I Heart Faces the theme is Nostalgia. I went through a lot of ideas but one of my favorites turned out to be this picture. I am a huge bookworm. I just love to read. Autumn loves it too and I am so excited to share with her all of my favorite books from when I was a kid. Sammy the Seal is one that I absolutely loved! I read the heck out of that book and practically had it memorized! I can’t wait until she’d old enough for my old Babysitter’s Club books! She’s going to love them!

What a beautiful image. Her tutu and hair-do are so cute-she looks like a little ballerina.
The bokeh behind just shimmers. The tones add to its nostalgic feel as well.

Great Shot! Such an exciting time…My little one is starting to read books faster then I can supply them, but we share a favorite too ‘Cloudy with a Chance of Meatball’s’. It is so fun to watch this whole new world revealed to them through books!

I think you picked the perfect processing for this picture. I read that same exact book when I was a kid. I loved Syd Hoff’s books. I just looked him up, and he only just recently passed away. (2004)
