It’s i heart faces’ 1st birthday this week! And they’ve got a TON of fun planned! 18 guest judges from last year are back to pick their favorites! How exciting!
I’m so happy I stumbled on i heart faces last spring. I don’t remember exactly where I first heard of them, but I read a lot of blogs in my Google Reader and I started noticing a few people posting pictures on their blogs and saying they were for a thing called “i heart faces .” Then as the weeks went by, I noticed more people mentioning i heart faces ! Curiosity got the best of me and I went to check it out! Once I got there I was hooked! It looked like SO much fun, and since I just got my DSLR a month or so before I thought it would be a good way to experiment and learn some new things with their weekly themes!
i heart faces has come so far from their beginning one year ago! And I’m happy to say that I have too! I’ve learned a lot from the guest judges and the particpants and I’ve made bunches of new friends! My photography has come a long way and I’ve found myself doing things I never imagined I would do! Such as shooting a wedding! (Thanks to all the wedding photography guest judges! I learned so much from you guys!) So to celebrate a year of fun and learning, and a year of new beginnings for me, I’ve decided to post the picture I took of my sister at her wedding three weeks ago!
