About Me!

I am a wife to a wonderful husband and mommy to two sweet little girls who just happen to have iron-strong wills! My girls, Autumn and Summer, give me continuous inspiration with their creative artwork, sweet little songs which float through the house most of the day, and their unlimited imaginations. They are my life’s adventure, and inspiration for the name of my blog, “My Two Seasons”, which I think is perfect!

My photography journey started when my girls were born. I wanted to capture every precious moment of their life. At that time though, I didn’t know the first thing about taking good pictures. I was just a mommy with a little point-and-shoot taking pictures of her girls! The real photography bug started to nibble at me in January 2009. I wanted my pictures to look great so I bought my first DSLR at the end of February. I jumped right into the manual modes and was determined I’d learn how to use my camera!

It’s been an incredible adventure and I feel like I’ve found my passion in life! I love taking beautiful photographs of my girls and I’ve found I adore photographing flowers. I’m in love with f/1.4 and Photoshop CS3 is my great friend. I shoot with a Canon Rebel XSi and my 50mm 1.4 lens is on my camera 99% of the time! I love to infuse my photos with magic and the unexpected!
