Autumn drew this picture of Santa Claus this week. Isn’t it so cute? Of course, I am a little biased but I think she is a great little artist!

A Little Sneak Peek!

Today I ran over to my sister’s to take some pictures of her shoes and dress before her wedding on Saturday. I’m so glad I did this! It saved a bunch of time! Misti has two outfits for that day and so we have two shoe pictures! I just love her shoes, they are gorgeous! I took tons of pictures and I really like this “pose!” It’s so fun!

An Early Christmas Present

We have not had a working printer for months now. It’s been a little bit of a pain, but I started to not really miss it after a while. I never printed many things, mostly it was Autumn printing out stacks of pictures from Noggin! A couple weeks ago Aaron brought home a surprise…a new printer/scanner/copier. A flatbed scanner/copier! I have boxes of pictures and artwork that Autumn has made over the years that I can’t seem to part with. But now! I can scan them! Whee! Aaron hooked it up a couple nights ago!

My sister-in-law Jenny had such a great idea that I think I am going to do now. She scans her children’s artwork and special papers and makes Shutterfly books out of them. Isn’t that the coolest idea?! I’m so excited! I can’t wait to start one of my own. Here are my first two scans!

This is a picture that Autumn drew a couple weeks ago. It is “Plain Gramma” holding some oranges! I love it!! It is so dang cute! “Plain Gramma” is my mom. Autumn came up with the name to differentiate between her two grammas! Aaron’s mom is called “Nana Gramma.”

And this one is a letter to Santa Claus Autumn wrote in kindergarten today! Isn’t it so cute?!! I love her “That’s what I wants!” Dang! I love this newfangled scanner contraption! I foresee a lot of use in its future!

aarons-steelhead

But when he brings home things like these, I don’t mind so much! They’ve been dumping steelhead into the river for the past few weeks and Aaron’s been there for nearly every one. A couple weeks ago he caught this beautiful one. He’s so proud of it! A few days before Christmas, he is going up north with his brother for a guided steelhead fishing trip for his birthday/Christmas. I’m excited for him and I hope he has a fun time!
