Sunday afternoon we went over to the grandparents’ house for dinner. My mother-in-law has the prettiest little section of flowers by her front door and sometimes it’s all I can do to keep the girls from picking all her beautiful flowers! Well, this day there was this pretty little pink rose begging me to take a picture of it. So I did.

I did something to this photo I very, very rarely ever do…I cropped it! I normally never do that, but for some reason today I felt like a square photo. So I cropped in close to the flower and added a texture from the Olde World Collection at Love that Shot.
The 365 Project is still going strong! Well, trying to at least! This has been such a fun thing to do this year, and I have to admit, it’s been a little tough. I’ve missed some days here and there but it’s ok. I went back and looked at my photos from the beginning of the year and I was amazed! I think I have already come so far in my photography! I can’t wait to see what the rest of the year brings!

Spring is definitely coming around over here. I’m having so much fun watching all my plants bud and bloom! Today had been rainy and cloudy, bad weather for playing in but perfect weather for some photography! I used my extension tubes (the 20mm one) with my 50mm lens for the cherry blossoms shots and my 50mm for the lilac bud.
